May 20th: John Willmett and Antonio Hurrioz (pianos) - Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances, Blumenthal Piece for the Left Hand, Rachmaninov Second Concerto (slow movement) and Mendelssohn/Rachmaninov Scherzo from 'Midsummer Night's Dream'
May 27th: Raymond Spasorski (piano) - Bach, Granados, Ravel, Chopin, Rachmaninov, de Falla, Albeniz, Ginasteras and Mompou
June 3rd: St Mary's Music School String Quartet - Schubert 'Death and the Maiden' and Kodály No.1

June 17th: John Bryden (piano) - music by Mozart, Kenneth Leighton and Schubert (including his Sonata in D major D.850)
June 24th: John Willmett (piano) - Schumann Carnival Jest from Vienna, Chopin Scherzo in B minor, Rachmaninoff Four Preludes (D minor, G minor, E-flat major, C minor), Mendelssohn/Rachmaninoff Scherzo from 'Midsummer Night's Dream'

Members receive the programme free by post or email every month. There is a modest annual membership subscription fee but the concerts are open and admission is free. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact The Treasurer.
The Society attracts a variety of performers from students in search of experience to accomplished amateurs and professionals, well known Scottish or international musicians. In the course of the season, members have the opportunity to hear a wide range of compositions including musical rarities and occasional first performances. Please note that we do not pay fees although we can help with expenses.
